2010 Landscape Ontario Awards of Excellence
Residential Construction under $10,000
This front yard was renovated in 2008 to compliment the home’s beautiful architecture. It was time to update the existing front landscape to create a more welcoming entrance, and to select plants and colours that were complimentary to the home.
The sidewalk layout was reconfigured, outdated pink interlock was replaced with square cut flagstone. The existing flowerbeds were reshaped and planted with a wider variety of evergreens, flowering shrubs and perennials. Now lavender, endless summer hydrangeas, perennial geraniums, boxwood, daisies, coneflowers and a climbing rose compliment the Victorian architecture.
