Front Yard Renovation, Waterloo
This front yard was renovated in 2005 to minimize turf, create privacy from the street, and install plant material that would provide ongoing interest throughout the seasons.
Spring bulbs start the season followed by a serviceberry, alliums and annuals. The front yard transforms throughout the summer as a variety of ornamental grasses mature. Russian sage, daisies, coreopsis, and daylilies provide continuous bloom before the hydrangeas provide fall interest. The home is anchored by a Katsura tree and a beautiful purple beech that retains its leaves throughout the winter months.
